How has your experience been in joining the team here at Quest?

It has been a great experience to join with people who work very hard to give our customers the best treatment possible while they are here at our facility.

What has your past experience consisted of professionally?

My experience is pretty varied actually. I have had the opportunity to do many things that I have enjoyed. My career path is Ministry, but I have been able to do other things to help me afford my ministry “habit”.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

Six and a half months ago my wife and I had our first child. We are currently in the process of getting our home ready to host a daycare center that my wife will run. But movies are our main escape, but I do enjoy reading and I dabble in music. I also like to try and get things to grow in my flowerbeds, although it doesn’t seem to happen as much as I would like.

What skills do you think you bring to the team?

I think that I bring solid customer service skills that will help to make sure that people are well cared for while they are here.

The annual MPI MidAmerica Educational Conference is an event that chapter members and supporters look forward to each year. As a premiere educational and networking opportunity, MidAmerica leaves attendees excited for the following year, which switches host sites between the Ohio and Kentucky Chapters. This year, the 11th annual conference was hosted by the Crowne Plaza Louisville, located conveniently next to the airport, and offers a variety of flexible event space, which made a great layout for the three day conference.The weekend began with a Bourbon Country Tour sponsored by Mint Julep Tours and Buffalo Trace Distillery. This was a great way to kick off the conference, allowing attendees to catch some sites and get a better feel for what Louisville has to offer. Participants also were able to taste a number of fine bourbons during their tour of the historic Bourbon Trail.

On Sunday May, 1st, in conjunction with Laura’s Catering, Quest presented our first annual Bridal Show featuring experienced vendors from various sectors of the weddings industry. Quest is a blank canvas, allowing brides to transform our space into their own whimsical setting. We did our best to reproduce that environment, decorating our largest banquet room to mimic a bride’s special day. With an array of linens provided by Connie Douglin, Brides were able to see examples of table sets from upscale to budget friendly choices. Centerpieces were donated by Expressions Floral Design, which complimented each table set décor perfectly, really helping to bring the room to life. Guests raved about Laura’s Catering. With sample buffets featured throughout the event space, guests were able to try an array of menu options, from crab cakes, to a chef manned pasta station.
